Results
After being half-drained having a few vials of blood taken the day I passed out, the results are conclusive: I'm not pregnant, nor do I have a thyroid problem.
Curious. Still no explanation for the fatigue, nor for my recent fattitude. ("You've gained weight this year," said my doctor, to which I replied, "Yeah, it must be ALL THE EXERCISE AND TRIATHLONS I'VE BEEN DOING.")
What the heck, you guys?
Of course I'm happy to know that I'm not in the early stages of hormonal obesity. But I admit, I was slightly...disappointed...when the nurse called and told me that I wasn't...pregnant. I know, this is crazy talk. But my disappointment has subsided since Ethan has decided to change his sleep schedule from Easy Slumber O'Clock to Rock Me For Three Hours And Then Let's Play Some More O'Clock.
Sigh.
For now, I have a follow up appointment in three weeks, and $15 worth of supplements to begin experimenting with (Zinc for immunity and to reduce sugar cravings, Papaya Extract for digestion, and Evening Primrose Oil for better sleep, mood stability and to fight belly fat). I learned about these today on Cranky Fitness and thought, Heck, what do I have to lose? Besides a few extra pounds, that is.
